Binuclease is a non-specific endonuclease derived from Serratia marcescens (also known as Bacillus psyllium), modified by protein engineering technology. It does not contain bacterial endotoxins expressed by prokaryotes. Functionally, it is capable of cutting all forms of DNA and RNA, whether single, double, linear, circular or superhelical, and severing phosphodiester bonds to produce 5 '-phosphonucleotides or 5' -phosphooligonucleotides. Broad-spectrum nucleases have no specific requirements for nucleic acid base sequence and can be used to remove nucleic acids from biological products by cutting any nucleotide in the chain. In the vaccine industry, protein and polysaccharide pharmaceutical industry, it is widely used to remove host nucleic acid residues, which can make the nucleic acid contamination of vaccines and protein products reach the Pico (pg) level. Broad-spectrum nucleases can also be used as enzyme preparations for deviscosification of cultured cell supernatants and cell lysates.
